Medication Administration Training for Child Care Providers - 3 Credit Hours

This course on medication administration in child care settings aims to review the fundamental principles of administering medications, discuss the expectations set forth by the Bureau of Licensing, and define the roles of both child care providers and parents. Participants will learn about the safe and efficient methods for giving medicines to children in child care, understand how a clear medication administration policy can streamline processes and ensure compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) by making reasonable accommodations for children with special health care needs.
