Greaux Healthy by Pennington Biomedical

This course aligns with Louisiana's Early Learning and Development Standards, TS Gold Dimensions, and CLASS Domains. Greaux Healthy is an evidence-based public service focused on childhood obesity prevention and treatment research. Participants will learn about the main components and daily requirements of physical activity for indoor and outdoor play, the teacher's role and best practices for physical activity, how to create and maintain safe physical activity areas both inside and out of the classroom, how to use physical activity to create and maintain a healthy learning environment for all children, and how to foster healthy physical activities with families.  (1 Credit Hour)
